Blackberry 9000 on a Budget, No 3G
It’s an exciting time for Blackberry lovers. The internet is alive with rumors and specs on the upcoming 9000 series of RIM’s addictive device. According to BoyGenuisReports.com the 9000 will have a budget companion code named Niagara.
The long awaited Blackberry 9000 series will include a touch-480×320-pixel-screen and a monstrous 624MHz processor, GPS, Wi-Fi, 2-mpxl camera and of course 3G (multi-band HSPDA). It looks like the Blackberry 9000 series will have a budget minded companion released along side. The budget model will have all the same specs without the 3G.
Nobody knows exactly what the 3G-less 9000 is for - perhaps for 3G-less T-Mobile? But doing without 3G will make the handset more affordable and might not be a practical added expense for many users. The third generation digital access hasn’t quite rolled out coast to coast yet so there might be a benefit to some consumers to do without the luxury.
It looks like the new Blackberry has a code name of Niagara.
