Xbox 360 Price Drop, 60GB Model Coming Soon
You’ve waited a long time to get your hands on a brand new Xbox 360! Now you can grab one with a 20GB hard drive at a $50 discount from its regular price. But it’s only while supplies last. It turns out that a new 60GB model will be replacing the 20GB game machine next month. Sadly the Elite and Arcade models aren’t going to change in price.
It’s the best media machine in the universe if you don’t want Blu-ray. Xbox 360 20GB is going for $299, down from the previous $349 retail price. If Blu-ray is your thing a PS3 might be your cup of tea if you at $400. But for the best games (so far) and the biggest online community for multi-player it’s Xbox 360.
The news hit us prior to this week’s E3, the big gaming expo that gets underway today. It’s expected to be a big week for gaming news. The E3 site already has a bunch of new trailers ready to be viewed including another peak at the controversial Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe game that has a lot of gamers scratching their heads wondering: “What’s the point?”
