lol this is just a xbox fanboy article, truth is the ps3 is just getting started and the 360 is almost dead. Ps2 will most likely out live the 360 and the xbox fanbabys will be able to say their xbox3 is better than ps3 while ignoring all the obvious signs of microsoft milking money from them and lying constantly.

Well true the PS3 has been brought into this generation in a flaming baptism of high prices and few and limited genre games. But i must say that it has done rather well and the fact that it sell's in japan could tip the global hardware sales in it's favour. Microsoft was gloating last week that 60% of gta4 sales where on the 360 and that would appears a good result at first but considering the 360 has sold 6 million more consoles then sony i would be starting to get worried as PS3 owners are notoriously brand loyal I think the 360's best selling point right now is it's much lower price point not it's live service. People are much more concious of their pockets then the fluency and standard of their multiplayer network. *Please excuse any bad spelling ME just trying to give a nuetral position.

PS3 has better technology meaning it has a higher potential of what can be developed which was clearly shown during PS day where they showed a gameplay demonstration of Killzone 2 in pre-alpha mode. All Microsoft has this year is Gears of War 2 - do they think they can stand strong against its competitors with one great game? And what if it didn't turn out to be a great game, what if it was shit at the end? That would kill them. Luckily Sony has a pack of games coming out just as Microsoft did for 2007 (Halo, Bioshock, Gears of War, & Mass Effect). Also if FFXIII does come out this year or possibly even a demo, xbox 360 would be the one to get an upgrade to possible xbox 720. Not to mention LittleBigPlanet....

Sony should have charged a competatively priced fee for PSN when it lanched the PS3, that way when a popular online game was released they could have made sure they provided the extra servers it would require. The trouble now is that most people who value online gaming and arent blinded by fanboyism would admit that PSN isn't worth paying for in it's current state and if or when Sony realise that the best way to provide a better service is to charge a small fee, they are going to have a problem convincing anybody to change their mind. I have all three current consoles and most of the previous generations too, i love them all for different reasons but i always buy the 360 version of muli-plaform games simply because of Live, even the troubled Dreamcast took online gaming more seriously than Sony did.
